Just Friends are a “collaborative covers project” formed of Nicolaas Jaar and Steven Spielberg’s daughter, Sasha. After Jaar’s Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 four days ago, some gems have emerged including a cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Avalanche’. The song is being released as part of 10 “mostly unreleased” tracks from Jaar’s label ‘Clown & Sunset’ that make up the compilation ‘Don’t Break My Love’.
